(CNSNews.com) – Twenty-four hours after the Food and Drug Administration grants authorization for a coronavirus vaccine, distribution to administration facilities across the nation will be underway, according to the four-star U.S. Army general overseeing the mammoth task of delivering the vaccine under the Trump administration’s Operation Warp Speed.

At a White House coronavirus task force briefing, OWS chief operating officer Gen. Gustave Perna confirmed than 100 million ancillary kits – syringes, needles, alcohol wipes, and dilutant – have already been assembled to be matched with the vaccine, ready to go.

Perna explained that, under collaborative plans months in development, vaccines once authorized by the FDA will be shipped by FedEx and UPS to administration points across the United States and its territories, including hospitals, doctors’ offices, pharmacies, long-term healthcare facilities – “places where people are comfortable going.”

The FDA announced on the 20th that the committee that will review Pfizer's data and application will meet on December 10th, 20 days after Pfizer submitted it. Pfizer's application could not have been a surprise, so this nearly 3 week delay has the appearance of foot-dragging by the FDA.

Doctors are suggesting that the CDC warn the public that the new coronavirus vaccines, which are expected to be approved by the FDA in the next few weeks, will have unpleasant effects on patients.

Pfizer and Moderna each have acknowledged that their vaccines could induce side effects similar to the virus itself, with possible muscle pains, chills and headache.

In a Monday meeting with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advisers, doctors said public health officials and drugmakers need to warn people about the rough side effects so they are prepared and not scared away from getting the second dose.  ...

Participants in the September vaccine trials reported symptoms including a high fever, body aches and daylong exhaustion after receiving the vaccine.

The side effects also raise the question about whether getting the vaccine outweighs the risk of getting the virus.  ... Full story

A sore arm or a life-threatening disease ... a headache or a life-threatening disease ... not a tough choice. Further, every medication already comes with a long list of potential side effects, so this carrying-coals-to-Newcastle call "to warn people about the rough side effects" is <1% reality and >99% Hate-Trumpism.

I hope to be able in a month or so to let folks know whether I was correct or incorrect in that assessment.

United Airlines flying Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine

United Airlines Holdings Inc., reportedly began operating charter flights on Friday to better position Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine for distribution once the inoculation is approved by the Food and Drug Administration.

United will fly the chartered planes between Brussels International Airport and Chicago O’Hare International Airport as part of the “first mass air shipment of a vaccine,” supported by the FAA, The Wall Street Journal reported.

The news of securing the charter flights comes as Pfizer has started to lay the foundation to move the vaccine quickly once the FDA and other regulators approve it.

According to the Journal, Pfizer has expanded storage capacity at specific distribution sites in Pleasant Prairie, Wisc., and Karlsruhe, Germany. The drug company plans to use suitcase-size frozen storage in cargo planes and trucks to distribute the vaccine around the world.

UAL and probably other airlines likely have a good number of idle planes available for distribution charter.

The public is not generally aware of how large an industry is the manufacture of serums, anti-toxins and vaccines, or that big business controls the whole industry. Neither are they generally aware that it is through the M. D.'s that this vast amount of serums, etc., is disposed of at from fifty cents to two dollars per vaccination; or that every little while the boards of health endeavor to start an epidemic of smallpox, diphtheria, or typhoid that they may reap a golden harvest by inoculating an unthinking community for the very purpose of disposing of this manufactured filth. They then raise a great cry for the need of compulsory vaccination.
