Fox News Feels the Heat as Morning Joe Beats Fox and Friends for the First Time in 20 Years
By Bonchie | Nov 17, 2020 2:15 PM ET

I’m sure Fox News’ new public relations firm will say this is no big deal and point us to Tucker Carlson’s ratings, but this seems like a pretty big deal to me. For the first time since 2001, MSNBC’s Morning Joe has beaten Fox and Friends in the ratings game. This is also not a single cherry-picked day, but an average of the entire week.

Some people reading this right now weren’t born the last time this happened.

TV RATINGS: MSNBC’s Morning Joe finished last week as the No. 1 cable news morning show for the first time since 2001:

1.6 million total viewers vs. Fox & Friends' 1.4 million.

FOX News is toast.  I use to use their website as my opening page -- no longer.  My opening page is now OANN

Morning shows are painfully vapid. I haven't watched one since Imus in the Morning was on MSNBC, and even that really wasn't the kind of "morning show" the networks churn out.

I call those the "Couch Shows."  I detest TeeVee hosts who sit on the folksy couches.

But then, ALL of cable news is painfully vapid, so...
