Solar and wind don't work. PROVEN.
Well, not really; they do physically “work.†But, will not work on a national scale before the technology advances to a point of being competitive in the marketplace, when it’s a viable economical alternative to standard energy sources. The problem becomes when government forces a complete nation-wide conversion, driven by hysterical and erroneous assumptions about world-wide natural weather calamities if we don’t force a sudden, draconian, zero emissions mandate.
I have nothing against point-of-use wind or solar applications. They worked fine for prairie farmers.
