Twitter Reportedly Suspends Trump’s Official Campaign Account Over Video Relating To NY Post’s Hunter Biden Report

Twitter reportedly suspended President Donald Trump’s official campaign account Thursday after it posted a video relating to the NY Post’s report on Hunter Biden.

The report, which came out Wednesday, alleges that Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, met with a Burisma executive in 2015. Twitter began to censor the story on its platform and then suspended multiple accounts who had shared the post.

“Twitter has suspended @TeamTrump for posting a video calling Joe Biden a liar who has been ripping off our country for years, as it related to the @nypost article,” Mike Hahn, a social media person for the Trump campaign, tweeted. “19 days out from the election.”

The tweet included a screenshot that appears to show a notice from Twitter confirming the “Team Trump” account was “locked.”

They're making a mess out of Trump's twitter account.  He had posted a video of Brett Baier reporting on the Hunter Biden emails ... by the time I reposted on TBR the video was removed.

Cruz says Judiciary Committee will subpoena CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey and Zuckerberg/Facebook, to testify as to what the hell they're doing on Tuesday.   We know exactly what they're doing and why.  They're protecting Biden.  Duh.

Graham says social media platforms taking their power to dangerous levels.  Well another duh.

Nothing will come of this.   This has been going on for a long time now.  More Kabuki Theater.

The active and blatant censorship of anything which may reflect poorly on the Biden campaign combined with the active and blatant censorship of anything considered conservative or pro-Trump proves several things which Republicans have brought up dozens of times.

These so called "public forums" are not "public" at all. They are "media platforms" controlled and censored by private editors. This makes them media outlets instead of innocent open public discussion.

The fact that they are so obviously actively campaigning for Biden and against anything related to Trump makes them political institutions. Again, they are certainly NOT open public discussion as they claim. They have become more like a PAC than a public website.

All of this means that they are not immune to oversight and regulation since they have absolutely crossed the line of impartiality and free and open access by a huge margin.

Right.   Sooo..... when the hell is that oversight and regulation going to kick in?   I suspect that we should not hold our breath waiting for it.
