A leaked slide from a Goodyear diversity training session shows the company has decided what the “acceptable” and “unacceptable” slogans are for employees to support.

The slide is part of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company’s zero-tolerance policy, which has deemed “Blue Lives Matter,” “All Lives Matter,” “MAGA Attire,” and “Politically Affiliated Slogans or Material” as “unacceptable.”

Those slogans that are “acceptable” to the company included “Black Lives Matter (BLM)” and “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride (LGBT).

Trump urges boycott of Goodyear tires after MAGA attire report

President Trump on Wednesday discouraged Americans from purchasing Goodyear tires after it was reported that company employees in Kansas were told not to wear “Make America Great Again” attire or other politically-affiliated gear.

“Don’t buy GOODYEAR TIRES - They announced a BAN ON MAGA HATS. Get better tires for far less!” Trump tweeted Wednesday morning, adding in parentheses, “This is what the Radical Left Democrats do. Two can play the same game, and we have to start playing it now!”

A local NBC News affiliate in Topeka, Kan., reported Tuesday on a slide purportedly shown at a Goodyear diversity training that listed “Black Lives Matter,” “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender pride” under “acceptable” while branding “Blue Lives Matter,” “All Lives Matter,” “MAGA attire,” and “politically-affiliated slogans or material” under “unacceptable.”

I'm not, but if I was.... this would have cinched my choice to not buy Goodyear.

This whole leftist branding thing is asinine.   The left corrupts and destroys everything it touches. 

Case in point:  Just look what it did to BSA.   Now we have to endure the sue-happy ads on tv urging folks that have been "sexually abused" by BSA to join a class-action suit now...(hurry)...since they're going bankrupt.  The truth is... the left harassed, sued and forced BSA to accept gay scout leaders.  I remember only too well.  The natural end result is.... BSA is caput.  Another American tradition based on morals and values S-canned by the radical, immoral left.

I used to have Goodyears on my previous vehicle. Even paid a little extra because I thought Nexen (the cheapest brand) was Red Chinese (it wasn't—as I found out they're based in South Korea) and wanted to buy American.

I guess I won't be making that mistake with my current car.

So, who created the slide then Goodyear?  It definitely appears to be yours.  Then there's this statement which appears to undermine your rebuttal:  "...as well as similar forms of advocacy that fall outside the scope of racial justice and equity issues."  It is readily apparent to anyone with half a brain that BLM is is viewed as "in scope" by the vast majority of companies virtue signalling and pandering to the marxists.

If you want all made in America tires and don't want Goodyear there is only Cooper that has 100% of it's tires made in America, every other tire brand has a mix of American and/or foreign manufactured lines.

But I have done Cooper before.  It comes down to price and looks for me these days.

I have had good luck with Jap Tires Toyo and also Hancook which might be made in one of the rice countries. 
But I have done Cooper before.  It comes down to price and looks for me these days.

Yeah I hear ya lately I've been running Hankook tires, looks I don't care about any more or I would probably still look at Cooper. It's price, dependability and performance. Also I patronize America's Tires here in California, I understand it is primarily known as Discount tires in other states, a family owned Christian company with good prices and great customer service.

Goodyear stock falls after Trump tweet calling for boycott

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company stock fell by as much as 3.5 percent on Wednesday after President Trump called for a boycott over reports that employees in Kansas were told that "Make America Great Again" apparel and other politically affiliated gear is not acceptable at work.

Trump's tweet, which bluntly stated "Don’t buy GOODYEAR TIRES," sparked a slide for the Ohio-based company. At the time of the post Wednesday morning, shares were around $9.60. The price fell to about $9.32 in the hours following the tweet, before gradually increasing and closing at $9.50.
