49ers will fly 'Black Lives Matter' flag at Levi's Stadium

The San Francisco 49ers will fly a “Black Lives Matter” flag at Levi’s Stadium as the franchise continues its support of the fight against racial inequality.

The 49ers will fly the flag next to the California state flag and the United States flag. On Monday, CEO Jed York discussed the “Black Lives Matter” movement, according to the Bay Area News Group.

And these NFL teams are wondering why fans are finding other things to do on Sunday instead of watching them grovel before terrorists.

Me too. They can fly a PLO flag, an ISIS flag, a Chinese flag, a Cuban flag, any flag they want to. Doesn't matter to me anymore. I'm out.

There are internet rumors that instead of the National Anthem, the NFL is going to now do a ritual burning of the American Flag before each game. I'm sure all the pickup driving, beer drinking rednecks, who watch football religiously are just going to love that. LOL

They are alienating their best customers. Once football becomes a purely Leftwing Black Nationalist political movement, the NFL will lose more and more fans with every passing year. And one more, yet another traditional American institution will have been destroyed by the Democrat Party Leftists.

The NFL was already struggling with the concussion issue, and the COVID issue, the growing 'hipster' issue who never watch football. This could be the final nail in the coffin.

I thought after the Steelers stayed in the locker room during the National Anthem (except one player), the rabid Steeler fans would stay away in droves.  But it really didn't happen.  Heinz Field still fills up for every game.  And I know fans who would watch from home still do -- my brother and his family for instance.  I don't know what it will take for people to stay away.  Maybe when one of these terrorists bomb the stadium?

It is a slow attrition. It doesn't happen immediately. But now with one thing piled on another thing stacked on another thing, eventually it will reach critical mass. Fewer children are playing or watching football today. They would rather play video games. We may not see it in our lifetime. But certainly the long term path the NFL is on now, does not bode well for the future. I wouldn't invest in it.

I can't do a damn thing more than I already did.

I walked off of NFL and NASCAR, and most every national sport. Still catch off-road racing when I can, but I find myself drawn more to local sports nowadays. Screw the national franchises.
