Video: Public School Teacher Caught On Tape Telling Students She Hopes They ‘Die’ Of Coronavirus

Nicole Griggs, has been a teacher at Steinert High School in New Jersey for the last 15 years and today she made it on the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

She was caught on camera telling students who were playing football in the park that they should “die a long, painful death” from the coronavirus.
From the Trentonian:

    A math teacher at Steinert High School was caught on video this week shouting at a group of teenagers playing football in the park that they should “die a long, painful death” from the coronavirus.

    The teacher was identified by multiple sources as Nicole Griggs, who has been a township teacher for the last 15 years and also taught middle school, according to the district website.

    One of the teenagers, a freshman at Steinert, told The Trentonian that he and a group of school friends were playing football Thursday at the former Homedell School, on the 500 block of East Franklin Street, when Griggs stopped to admonish them from behind a chain-link fence.

Sad. Steinert HS is right outside of Trenton.

Opinion is she must have snapped now that she’s not working.

Well, chances are she won’t have a job when school opens again.

Btw, the teens technically broke quarantine laws too. Playing football outside I believe you aren’t doing social distancing. All parks are closed and that would include the place they were playing. They got lucky because if a cop had seen them, they’d have been busted, told to break it up and given a warning and/or a fine.

And they’re out in public not wearing masks. All of them. Again, if a cop had seen them, all of them except doggy, would have been given a warning, and possibly a fine.
