Jordan was on record as saying Houston was the team that scared him the most....they had no answer for Olajuwon. This was still the era when the three ball wasn't nearly as important as it is now.
An unstoppable center like Olajuwon and a pickup like Drexler could have given the Bulls a lot of problems.
Overall Jordan was fortunate to be in his prime during the 90s when the great teams of the 80s were no more, and the competition wasn't as good.
The year after Jordan first retired, '93'94, the Bulls won only two less games than they did the previous regular season and almost beat the Knicks in the EC semis. The Knicks went on to the finals to lose to Houston in seven games.
