My internet went away. It wasn't me. I swear! So I see my network is still up and happy. I login to the modem and it shows no broadband. So I try rebooting the gateway and modem several times. I re-seat cables and try again. Nope. I give up and call the provider. I have to go thru 2 robo-techs. The last one transfers me to the bottom of a que to talk to a human tech. After 40 minutes or so I finally get to talk to a real human tech. After about 40 minutes he gives up and schedules for another tech to come to my place tomorrow. We hang up and then about 30 minutes later my internet is back. So obviously the problem was on their end and I'll never know what the hell the problem was. Some yayhoo unplugged me.
