And I'm with you on the cheek kiss thing.
Sticking lips up next to my face and going "Mwah", well, to me that doesn't count for much.

Good analysis. Handshaking can be informative.

He's very intelligent and is well known in his field, but I've found him a bit annoying and now I find him a lot annoying.

heh heh... I may be a duffer, but folks what do that to me are gonna get a surprise. I can still rub hand bones together pretty easy. Never do it on my own, just a hard shake like it oughta be... But I CAN make a point of it if need be.

Yep. every deal I ever made was on a handshake. The paper always came later.
Any moron can break a contract. But folks look down on breaking word.

First person I ever shook hands with that had that dead fish handshake was Bill Clinton in Kuwait.
