Never heard of any of them? Are they cable shows?
Internet exclusives.
Mare of Easttown is HBO/HBO Max. It's a serial crime drama. Kate Winslet is the star.
Ted Lasso is Apple TV+. It's a sitcom/dramedy. The premise is that the title character, a charismatic college football coach, all of a sudden gets roped into a coaching gig in England for a different kind of football.
Hacks is also HBO Max. I hadn't really heard of it, either, but apparently it's meta-comedy: a comedy/drama about comedians.
Being the cheapskate that I am who doesn't buy TV subscriptions, I haven't see any of them, though I've seen a lot of talking-head buzz about
Mare (mainly because of Winslet's apparently dead-on Philly accent) and
Ted Lasso.
