Sometimes shaky vocals can be the decider in a song... but sometimes it becomes part of it's charm... The male vocals are such in this song, but the female accomplice is just delicious to me... sometimes it takes more than one listen to appreciate songs... songs have to grow on you. We take for granted that most pop songs were forged because radio stations bombed you with the song time and time again, you don't get that with obscure songs.

Thanks DB, funny we were just talking about DcD at one of my music hangout places the other day... One of my fanzines (basically a 4AD fan club) in the early 90s pushed a local group (Tel Basta) that sounded somewhat like Dead Can Dance.

Obscure New Wave with perhaps as perfect as you get vocals, yes award winning vocals. After winning a contest for best vocalist he did a few singles and disappeared.

Yep, new to me, though the genera is something I understand. Often associated with folk fantasy, I am only a distant fan being I do like some of the female vocalist, be perhaps detour with a more male folk guitar (ie.. Runrig). Louisa John Krol was/is a prolific song producer/composer according to discogs... and seemed to have many friends she collaborated with.
