I have some pretty big shoes to fill, my Beloved @Sanguine, but with your help, Briefers we can make Texas the best dam Category on this Forum as it is already the best State.

There is the mandatory briss.

@corbe did not imagine you as a Texan.
Thought you were more of a Colorado/California type guy.
Anyway, congratulations on your move up.

From what I can discern, there seems to be hundreds of Texans on the board.
I seem to hear more about Texas than any other than any other State by individual posters.

Good for you, corbe.  I did not vote because the vote was not "fair".  You are worse than any choice there.   :kisses2:  If you need any help with Texas, let me know.  I know it from the year 1933 until today.

What I like about @corbe is a Moderator who has lived in other than Texas.

So knows from experience how good this state truly is.

Your hearing must be really good @240B .  I have to read this board in order to appreciate Texas and no matter hard I have tried, I just can't catch the tune of "The Eyes of Texas".

Being a moderator wouldn't fit my schedule of disappearing for weeks or a months while I'm on some soul blistering bender. By the time I manage to come back down to Earth, my forum would be in chaos and on fire.

I respect people who live controlled predictable lives, and who can count on themselves to behave normally. But that is not me.

You are right about that.

She hinted once of running for political office, so my hope she will pop out as someone I can vote for and financially support.

Few people meet the criterion I have for doing that.
