Dunno. The blade on a tobacco knife looked like a thin bit of sheet metal...but I have cut thousands of plants with one. 1/4 inch should do the trick...If it's gonna be like the Terror, you want it to be portable...

If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

Jim Jones was a socialist Democrat.

@Texas Robin stayed this last weekend and lo and behold my X showed up.  It was not pretty.  The whole time I was playing  'Prison Warden' to keep things from getting out of hand and I was stuck on my laptop, which like me, is ill-equipped to post on TBR, sometimes.

In 1950, I would be regarded as the bearded old man on the corner proclaiming the world was going to end...
Or actively working to make sure Goldwater won...in the not so distant future.
Unfortunately, that's how many of those who predicted this current mess were regarded, with a denial that made much of this possible.
