The reality? Blacks don't have a chance of keeping what voice they have in the Democrat Party, simply because the Democrats are loading the plantation with people from south of the border. The same demographics which are changing the face of the Sanctuary States and others will doom the Blacks to being the minor minority.
Fifty years of Charlatans and Socialist suck-ups in Office have done nothing for Blacks, and they know it.
@Smokin Joe I disagree. 50 years of being sold out by their religious leaders and politicians telling them they didn't have to get educations,hold jobs,or be responsible for any crime they committed has put them in a worse position than they were after the Civil War ended. The end result was generations of blacks that HAD been hardworking industrious people were encouraged to lay around on their asses and do nothing to advance themselves because the DNC was going to "take care of them". You really can't blame people for taking advantage of a situation like that after it is offered to them. Most people,regardless of race or background will take the easy way out 9 times out of 10. It's just human nature.
This worked for them for decades,and then the Dims looked around and discovered there were more His and Her Panics in America than blacks,and went after their votes by offering "special citizen minority status" to them,just like they did with the blacks. It mostly didn't work with the ones that came here before the 60's because they mostly came here to work hard and better themselves. It wasn't until the 80's that the communist His and Her Panics started showing up as they lost power in South and Central America,and were recruited to come here and agitate by communists like the "Mary Knoll" Catholics,who were looking for government money themselves as they got paid the new refugees to speak English,how to apply for welfare benefits,etc,etc,etc.
Truth to tell,I am not so sure even now that the majority of the people from South of our Border are even buying into that crap today. After all,most left their home nation to AVOID poverty and improve their positions in life. I suspect this is more a case of "the squeaky wheel" (communists) getting the attention" than anything real.
Face it,the majority of the immigrants from down south HAVE worked hard and became successful and proud Americans. It's only the uber rich and the uber poor who are protesting. The vast middle-class are enjoying the life they have now,and have no interest in revolution.
