I remember that like it was yesterday. We were watching the whole thing live on our old B&W TV on the NBC channel out of Midland TX which was the only station we could get every night. Mom was crying by the time they were finished.

Saw it live also with the whole family.  Made going to Midnight Mass that night even more special.
