Horowitz: Page was a CIA source.  An FBI lawyer was told that in an email, and "doctored" that email to make it seem like he was NOT a source.  The FISA court was never told this potentially exculpatory information.

So Durham's statement on Monday was very misleading. His disagreement, according to Horowitz, is that they should have opened a preliminary investigation and not a full-fledged counterintelligence probe. Not at all what his statement implied.

Obama sent Comey/Clapper/Brennan et al. to brief Trump *after* they knew or should have known that 1) the Steele dossier was a fraud and 2) that Carter Page was a CIA CHS who was, on multiple occasions, fraudulently represented to the FISA Court by FBI as a “Russian” agent.

The claim of "no political bias" at FBI is based largely on the claim that the senior official who decided to launch the investigation was not biased. But anyone reading the #IGReport or watching the hearing would be struck by the obvious bias the FBI had against

During his opening statement at the Judiciary Committee hearing with DOJ IG Michael Horowitz, @LindseyGrahamSC
 is going line-by-line through the Strzok/Page texts bashing Trump and detailing how they plan to stop him.

Impossible to hear these texts and believe there was no bias.

Rather than fight Horowitz on his claim that he found no "smoking gun" evidence of bias, Graham's reading of cartoonishly biased texts from the key people who committed all the errors (that just happened to run uniformly in the anti-Trump direction) was pretty tactically smart.
