Haven't seen so much dim flailing since Iran-Contra.  Seems every passing second makes this more petty and a pure witch hunt.
I think we are getting close to the point where the GOP can sit back and just watch the democratic party use this to implode into a 2020 election disaster.

If most voters paid attention you would be correct.  After this blows up in the Rat faces, the press will go into full spin mode until the election about how Trump must be crooked, or he would not have been Impeached by the House.  Keeping this blowback fresh in incurious minds will be our challenge in '20.

Should articles get to the senate, many senators may be taking measures to insure a trial does not take place. Look for a summary dismissal because many senators don’t even want a trial. Now, why would that be?

Well, an OAN news reporter went to Ukraine and spoke to Ukrainian officials who had knowledge of results of Ukrainian corruption investigations and it seems there were kickbacks to American politicians besides Hunter Biden, both D’s and R’s.

Rush covered this story. No other source reporting, though.

The last time I looked at polls, Congress has an approval rating of about 9%.

Muammar Gaddafi had an approval rating of 13% and his own people dragged him through the streets and killed him.

This impeachment process demonstrates the worst in us.

That's what it looks like on paper, but the reality is that impeachment is the only way they keep the rabid base from storming the gates. It might cost them independent votes but it's their best chance to hold on to as much power as they can.
