Yes, REALLY! The town of Durham, New Hampshire announced it was removing several ‘Christmassy’ elements from its annual Christmas ‘holiday’ celebration after two people complained about being offended. Can anyone venture a guess as to the ideology of people who are so offended by Christmas, they seek to destroy it? (See second video)
Summit News According to CBS Boston, the town’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will undergo changes “in an effort to remove religious overtones.”

I surveyed a half dozen news articles about this, some from local sources. None mentioned either the religion (or non-religion) of the person who objected, nor to his/her citizenship/immigration status.
