]Los Angeles (AFP) - Kay Wilson packed up her life in a hurry and]oved to Los Angeles... only to find that what she paid in Pennsylvania for a nice studio apartment would only get her a 2.9-square-meter box in California.

Her new home is a capsule, inspired by the famous hotels in Japan.

Each room contains up to six capsules, which Wilson describes as "cozy." They contain a single bed, a bar for hanging clothes, a few compartments for storing shoes and other items and an air vent.

These things are shoeboxes. I’d rather have a studio apartment. You don’t even get a hot plate?

What do you do if your boyfriend visits? Where’s the toilet? Shower? Can you have a pet?

I was a small child when my family lived in L.A., and even I could tell it was no place to which I'd ever want to return. We moved away when I was about 8. I don't even want to visit. These people are crazy.

The toilets and showers are in the public access areas where the gym is,which I guess means if you need to use the toilet in the middle of the night that you have to get up,get dressed,and run for the gym.

No pets,obviously.

And it will sound like a dream come true to the up and coming communists that created these rat mazes.

As for me,if these cages cost half of what a studio apartment that has it's own private toilet and bath,as well as room for overnight guests,your big screen tv,your phone,your washer and drier,etc,etc,etc,why the HELL don't these retards hook up with another 20's something and rent a studio apartment?

Yeah,but spending a few hours in one napping while waiting to catch a flight is one thing. Living in one for 30 days at a time is a whole different thing.

They have these in airports now in Europe. I saw they had them in or near Heathrow . I’d stay in one for a few hours sleep between flights but living in one? No way.
