No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

You're everywhere I go, I am not alone
You call me as Your own to know You and be known.
You are holy!
And I fall down on my knees.
I can feel Your presence here with me.
Suddenly I'm lost within Your beauty,
Caught up in the wonder of Your touch.
Here in this moment I surrender to Your love.

@roamer_1

People just pretend they are singing to the cows. They are singing to please themselves. The cows like it because it makes them feel like they are safe,but they would be just as happy if the cowboys were reading to them. It's the sound of the calm voice that does it.

Which means you do NOT "sing" punk rock songs to calm a herd of cattle. Chances are you would be ran over by the stampede.

No, it ls a thing... There is a certain style they like, and that's where that western cowboy stuff comes from, with the ki-yips and yodels.

Even moving em, if you're on the swing, you're probably singing to em. And certainly to bed em down. Partly I suppose it it because they can hear who you are and where you are as you approach, riding round...

I dunno. All I know is that it works. Better on cows than on wimmin.  :laugh:

Are you kidding as a teeny bopper I was in love with David Cassidy and Davy Jones.   happy77

So sad; a documentary reveals that David Cassidy lied about having dementia to hide his alcohol abuse. He died of liver failure in 2017.

Yes, I heard that. So sad that he was never able to find peace in sobriety. He was extremely talented and just a beautiful man.

I will always remain amazed at the people who claim they can never understand the attraction of country music. They obviously never bothered to listen to traditional country or bluegrass,and confuse "radio pop" with country music.
