This should probably go on the Music for Squares thread, but I'm posting it here in keeping with the September theme. It's a significant song for me and events in my life. It's also a beautiful song. Maybe someone here will enjoy it, but I'll also post it on the Squares thread in case there are others like me who are relatively uncool and who are cool with that.  :whistle:

I remember that song well. It got a LOT of airplay back then,and may have been the first electronic "Ear bug". There is no "unhearing" it once it is played.

I dunno,but I do know he used to do a lot of Christmas specials on teebee. IIRC,he even had his own prime time show in the 60's,but I doubt I watched 10 hours of tv during the entire 60's. Had more important things to do,like drink and chase wimmins.

What an odd combination of non-related artists/musical genres! Y'all must be youngish.

But thanks for the reminders. I hadn't heard "April Come She Will" for a hundred years, so I treated myself to a mini Simon and Garfunkel concert. Of course, the hit that Andy Williams is best known for is "Moon River," but there are so many more songs I remember singing to in my younger days, so I listened to a few of those as well. I'll probably post some on the Music for Squares thread. Appreciate the nudge, even if it was unintended.

P.S. "My Cherie Amour" is by Stevie Wonder.
