That was then, this is now.
Times have changed.
I reckon there's a significantly large portion of the population -- 30, perhaps 35 per cent -- who are completely on-board with a candidate promising "wealth confiscation" from "the rich".
There are 40% (or more) who will vote for ANY democrat-communist candidate -- even one openly promoting socialist/communist ideologies.
If only we could be in "Nixon's America" once again.
But that's gone with the wind.
