The GreenPeace protest interested me so I looked it up.

It just seemed so pointless and stupid I had to know what they thought they were accomplishing.
They shut down two lanes of the bridge, and interrupted shipping through the channel.
It was timed to make news before the debate.

Essentially, they were trying to troll the Presidential debate for free publicity by disrupting traffic and shipping. Obviously, it was a massive fail. Without your post here, I would have never known that it even happened at all.

Will never understand why Leftists believe that disrupting people who are simply going about their normal day, is good for whatever cause they are promoting. You don't get people to agree with you or to join your side by pissing people off. But, I guess the Left disagrees with my opinion.
