When one says 'New York', does one mean the city or the state?
New York has one NFL team, and that's the Buffalo Bills.

That Lizzo character seems to be quite popular. Definitely a great choice for 2021.  *****rollingeyes*****

I agree with, it was @skeeter  's post actually,  football is too frustrating over all to watch...this time I like the outcome but usually, I'm indifferent or worse, I don't like the team.

I don't really dislike the Patriots, maybe I dislike how they have dominated the last 15-20 years but a story up at drudge is saying the Patriots may be offering him a deal, $30 million to stay.

Next year's SB isn't being played at any seismic risk zones is it?

The XFL game is on right now. So far, it's been surprisingly good for a first-ever game.

Why are they calling this year's NFL draft "virtual"? It's a real draft, it's just not being held in the usual locale. If it were virtual, none of the players selected over the past two days really would have a chance at playing in the NFL.  :pondering:

Noting that, virtual or not, the top three picks are Ohio State guys.

Looks like most of last season's starting lineups for LSU and Alabama have been drafted, too!

I saw that.  btw, I'm counting Joe Burrow as an Ohioan because he is one.  happy77   He's from near you, and sat the bench at OSU, but he still counts, even though he ended up at LSU!

Unfortunately, he was drafted with the Bengals, which is NOT my favorite team, but I'm guessing he grew up a Bengals fan and not Browns so he's probably thrilled.  Chase Young and Jeff Okudah were 2 and 3, so it's really fun to see Buckeyes doing so well.

They'll all be great assets to their respective teams.

I just saw that J.K. Dobbins is going to the Ravens, which is my least, least favorite team, but I wish him well anyway.  happy77

Yes, Burrow definitely is an Ohioan. Got a lot of good press for urging donations to the Athens food bank.

NFL Memes  @NFL_Memes
The NFL Draft takes way too long.
If I really wanted to watch 32 picks in 3 hours, I’d just watch Jameis Winston play

I saw a funny Meme on Twitter yesterday.
The showed a bunch of mask with Dallas Cowboys logos on them.

I said "Wear these, and you're guaranteed not to catch anything".

They're as undefeated at this point as the Pittsburgh Pirates. There's a lot to be said for status quo, I guess.

The Bengals have released QB Andy Dalton. Rumors started that the Patriots will pick him up. Immediately, the perpetually offended  complained that no one is suggesting that the Patriots sign Cam Newton, therefore, RACISM!  It couldn't possibly be that Newton is a doofus.

Newton is a text book case study of a criminal waste of talent.  Too bad for him.

1-0
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

Jim Jones was a socialist Democrat.
