Adults supervising a group of children by an Ohio creek had the shock of their lives when they discovered a 7.5-foot-long crocodile swimming in the creek where their charges were playing. As Fox News reports:

    A massive crocodile was spotted in a creek in Ohio while young children were playing in the water.

    A group of children with a church group was playing in the Bantas Fork Creek in Preble County Wednesday evening when a shadowy figure was spotted just below the water’s surface, according to local news station WLWT-5.

Just look at the beast.  If someone can buy that and hide it somewhere, how difficult must it be for someone to get a gun even if they were all banned?  This is the perfect picture of why gun control laws won't work.

I saw a picture on the news today that had an alligator or croc climbing a fence. I didn't know that they could climb!

I thought that too, but I decided that for Ohio it is massive.

A crocodile weighing over 170 pounds turned up in an Ohio creek Wednesday and was killed by an Ohio Department of Natural Resources officer, officials said.

The animal was spotted by Preble County residents in Bantas Creek and reported to state authorities.

Classified as a "dangerous wild animal" under Ohio law, the crocodile's body was taken to the Ohio Department of Agriculture for examination. It did not have a microchip or tracking implant as required by law, officials said.

Brett B. Gates with the Ohio Department of Agriculture said crocodiles are not native to Ohio and the animal was likely a recently released pet.

The crocodile was an adult about 7-feet, 6-inches in length.

Well, it depends on the circumstances too.  If my child is in the water with it, or near it, it is massive.
