It’s their MO - identify a non-problem, ‘fix’ it (creating a real problem), then identify problem you created, ‘fix’ it (making the problem you earlier ‘fixed’ an order of magnitude worse), lather rinse repeat etc etc
In this case one leftist crusade, LGBT rights, got mixed into another, Title IX, like Dr Brindle and the fly.
Well, they can't back down now. For the Left to back down on this would be to admit that men and women are fundamentally different, which of course they are. Women are structurally different, hormonally different, psychologically different, and biologically different. But the Left has spent decades denying reality, so now they are stuck with it.
So many women have complained how this is affecting their lives in significant and disastrous ways. Not only do they lose the achievement of victory, but they also lose out on scholarships and award money. This is affecting the lives of so many women and girls sometimes permanently. This is not like the bathrooms or showers that the women can avoid. This is having a real world harsh effect on them which in many cases can never be recovered ever. Frequently, there is no second chance.
I read an article a while ago that was discussing what they called 'vagina games'. That is, you cannot qualify to compete unless you have a real deal, bonafide vagina. The intent is to surrender what is currently called "women's sports" to the men, and to create a new sport category which is for women only. I doubt this will happen but even if it did happen somehow, it would be only a matter of time until the Liberals find some way to screw it up.
