10 things to watch for during tonight’s Democratic presidential debate

10. Paint to dry
09. Folks coming down off the mountain so I can waive at em.
08. Deer coming out down by the creek.
07. Burgers ready to flip on the grill.
06. Fries in the fryer
05. Chewy trying to dig out a mouse.
04. Neighbor's cat trying to cut through the yard without Chewy figuring it out.
03. The Delta flight coming in.
02. My beer on the side table of my lawn chair
01. Sunset from my porch.

I'll be in better shape tonight because my kegs are supposed to be at the liquor store today.  I was stuck with longnecks last night. :thud:

Thanks!  Gonna christen that new Kegerator tonight, as soon as I get one of the new kegs properly chilled.  36F.

Pabst??   :knifefight:

I used to drink Coors in a can until I discovered Belgian White Ale.  Went straight to longnecks and graduated to kegs when I got the Castle and inherited a Kegerator.  I completely rebuilt it so it was a learning experience that I could apply when I decided the Kegerator itself was too small for what I wanted (Beer that doesn't run out because I can rotate spare kegs now).

The first kegs were Blue Moon, but I found I like Shock Top better.  :tongue2:

Yep... Or Hamms, or Keystone, etc. Prefer Rainier, or Oly, but it ain't around much no more.
I figgered one day that if I am gonna drink crappy beer, it might as well be cheap. Threw down my last Miller/Bud that day, and never looked back.

I like Hileman's or Schlitz when I am back east, which last was 20 years ago.
Now and then Heineken dark.

Tecate if I am southbound, which ain't been for 20 years too. Not that I ever got that far south, but I ran into a chica and her brother than got me on the stuff.. Still prefer eating Mex food with a Tecate.

Can't do Coors, can't do Michelob. Both give me a screaming headache right from the first can. Dunno what that is.

If there's a joke in there, it went by me... Not familiar with either of those, so...  :shrug:

Got my first tankard in front of me now.  It's personal taste. I like Belgian White ale.

Not a problem...  I can go international.
When my Irish/ Scots-Irish friends are around, it's Guinness
When the Ozzie drovers used to come up this way for roundup, it was Fosters.

See? I catch a lot of crap for being a hick... but I am quite experienced with other cultures.

10 things to watch for during tonight’s Democratic presidential debate

2. How Elizabeth Warren takes the reins

Warren is the highest-polling candidate of the 10 contenders on stage Wednesday, having crept up in the polls and eating into Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’ base of support as she proposes a plethora of liberal policies.

The Massachusetts senator can use the debate to show how she is a more palatable liberal than socialist Sanders and demonstrate how she would take on President Trump in the general election.

@mystery-ak

ANY female candidate that gets to the primaries had a built-in advantage. Due to brainwashing over the last few decades,they will automatically get a majority of the Whymen votes. Not because most women feel oppressed by their men,but because they have been conditioned to be a member of the "You go,gurl!" sisterhood.

There is also the temptation by the slow-witted to "help make history" by electing a woman president.

It worked for Bathhouse Barry,and it almost worked for Bubbette! Clinton,who is most likely THE worse candidate for president that even got a nomination. Take away her "You go,gurl!" vote and her supporters that don't work or profit from her wouldn't fill a city bus.

  How will it work?

The debates begin at 9 p.m. EDT and run for two hours at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County.

They will be shown live on NBC, MSNBC, and Telemundo.

The hosts are Savannah Guthrie, Lester Holt, and Chuck Todd of NBC News, with Rachel Maddow of MSNBC and José Diaz-Balart of Telemundo.

So Lester and Jose will be the only men at the table? The DNC obviously has a problem with heterosexual white men not named Bill Clinton.

Tulsi Gabbard projects more stones than all the other men on stage and she looks great.

Winner.

@Free Vulcan

She probably HAS more stones than any alleged male running for the Dim nomination.  Maybe even more than all of them,despite being feminine.

And Warren looks so uptight that she'd be able to squeeze a lump of coal into a diamond with her buttcheeks.
@Free Vulcan

I keep hoping she will stroke out,but it never happens.

Not that I am an expert, @corbe  - the only cerveza   I can get at on up in here is Tecate and Dos Equis... No comparison.

Outside of cactus juice, the only other thing I think I've had from down your way is Lone Star, of which I have had an official butt-ton.

   I've lived in this State for 60+ years and NEVER had a Lone Star or a Pearl, drank enough Shiner to float a boat though.   Most of the Hoity Toits around here don't carry Tecate but they have Dos Equis on draft, which is real good, too.

I like Dos Equis too, when I don't have Corona.  Pretty much the only beers I drink in summer.

   I'd bet we see Joe Biden with that deer in the headlights look, at least twice in the next 2 hours.

Never even heard of Pearl... Heard of Shiner, never had it... When I was down in Colorado back in the day, everybody was drinking Coors... Lone Star was around, because of a couple Texas cowboys, so that's what I did. Either that or Oly, which was the only PacNW beer I could get at down there at the time... And I drank a ton of Lone Star fishin for catfish with my kin down in Kansas... I don't really know why.

Been a while, but every now and then I find Lone Star on the shelf up here, and I always get me some.
