Brennan shreds 'misleading & highly politicized' Barr memo

Former CIA Director John Brennan ripped Attorney General William Barr's memo to Congress about special counsel Robert Mueller's report before the document was released as "misleading & highly politicized."

"I subsequently learned from the Mueller report that there was a lot more evidence of collusion and obstruction of justice than was indicated in the misleading & highly politicized Barr memo," Brennan tweeted on Wednesday.

"Your obvious fear of Congressional action is warranted & your dishonesty is appalling," he acted in the message directed at President Trump.

Trump tweeted Tuesday quoting remarks the Obama-era CIA director and MSNBC commentator made in March following Barr's characterization of the Mueller investigation.
