I have been skipping a few 70s bands because I dreaded making another Music Thread category... Well it is about time, lot of gems from the era... in lots of various categories of music.

I will open it up with a nice mild selection ... Every song a hit (yes some were cover songs). 70s and Early 80s

Wow, surprised how well liked the era was. I will try to throw up an album or two here now also... I have to admit, I don't know the decade as well as I knew the later ones mainly cause we were not allowed to listen to radio growing up (World Wide Church of God thing)... So I will be listening probable more than I post. Thanks gang for making the thread a welcome one.

I was fortunate enough to get into Dr. Demento the last few years he was on the air. Alas, he stopped doing his show on the radio nine years ago and now you have to pay $2 a show to hear it online. I get the guy has to pay for his retirement, but it's a shame he had to go to the lengths he did.

   Definitely Minstrel in the Gallery with Cold Wind to Valhalla on it, Stand Up and Benefit were also Great Albums by Tull.   Aqualung is good too, helps if your Stoned.
