Oh, you're right, @libertybele  - I got the names wrong. Mr. M and I both take Crestor, after a pharmacist friend explained that Crestor was less likely to cause muscle/joint pain than the other statins, like Lipitor. We surely didn't want any more pain, so we asked our dr. to prescribe Crestor.

It doesn't cause Mr. M any problems, but it would be nice to know what's going on with me!

I'm not a fan of either statin, and I went off of a statin for a month and felt great with my energy back, but I was told I needed to be on one.  Over the years I've read conflicting reports about statins  with some reports saying that they cause more side effects and harm than they are worth.
Live in  harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.
