US Says It Stands With India in Fighting Terrorism
U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo met with Indian Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale in Washington Monday and told him that the United States stands with India in fighting terrorism.
After their meeting, the State Department said the two discussed the importance of bringing to justice those responsible for a suicide attack on an Indian paramilitary convoy claimed by Pakistan-based militants.
The State Department said the diplomats spoke of "the urgency of Pakistan taking meaningful action against terrorist groups operating on its soil."

Apparently, things de-escalated quickly. An article was posted that someone in the federal government, SOS, got on top of the crisis and encouraged a calm in tensions. If something like that situation in J & M, Jammu and Kashmir ignited, it could be pretty bad. Supposedly, 300K Indian troops alone in the area.
