Boys Sweeping Girls’ High School Track In Connecticut Wouldn’t Break Top 100 In Male Competition

Grace Carr | Reporter

Two biologically male high school students are dominating the 55-meter dash in girls’ track and field in Connecticut, but they don’t rank among the state’s top 100 male competitors for the same race, records show.

Transgender high school juniors Terry Miller and Andraya Yearwood’s personal records for the 55-meter dash place high in female competition, but their times aren’t as notable in boys’ competition.

Miller and Yearwood’s personal records for the 55-meter dash clock in at 6.91 seconds and 7.01 seconds, respectively, ranking them first and second in the state’s female competition, and third and seventh nationally.

Miller and Yearwood rank 120th and 195th, respectively, against their male competitors for the state’s 55-meter dash, DyeStat records show.

The state’s high school male record times for the 55-meter dash clock in at 6.47 seconds and 6.50 seconds for first and second place, according to the statistics.

Miller and Yearwood placed first and second, respectively, in the girls’ state indoor track championships Feb. 16, according to The Associated Press.

Miller and Yearwood also placed first and second in Connecticut’s girls track championships in June 2018 for the 100-meter dash.

Transgender Athletes Who Compete Against Women Are Cheats
We don’t allow steroids in professional sports, so why should we allow genetic enhancement or alteration drugs in amateur sports?
By Britt McHenry

There’s no crying in baseball. Tom Hanks told us that in “In a League of Their Own.” There’s also no cheating in sports. Allowing natural-born men to participate in women’s sports on the basis of gender identification is, in essence, cheating. ...

Here lies the problem: While those two students identify as women, their genetics reflect otherwise. In the purest form, sports should celebrate physicality: the natural female and male forms as they exist, not as they are altered through steroids or hormonal replacement. We don’t allow steroids in professional sports, so why should we allow genetic enhancement or alteration drugs in amateur sports?

In the past, the two students have told “Good Morning America” that women should simply work harder to beat them. This sentiment is ludicrous, particularly in a sport like track and field where there is no trainable skill other than form and God-given physicality. It is possible to strengthen fast-twitch muscles (responsible for short-distance speed intrinsic in these sprinters’ performances), but only to a certain point of maximization. Translation: You’re either born with it or you’re not. And the average man is born with more speed and strength capacity than the average female athlete. ...

I mean, if we're going to indulge in this kind of delusion, why have segregated sports at all, other than for Title IX purposes?

Although, the thought of an all-trans "girls" football team concocted as a legal fiction would be brilliant...

Girl's Sports - Women's Sports is gone. It's over. By allowing so called 'trans-guys' to compete with women, some of whom have had no procedures whatsoever, the women will automatically move to the bottom of the roster and the guys will dominate.

That means that it is no longer about watching 'girls' or 'women' competing with each other. Instead, it becomes a competition of effeminate men competing with each other. They can call it 'girl's sports', but that is no longer what it really is. It is just lipstick wearing soft-men competing with other mascara wearing soft men. Not a woman or a girl in sight.

You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.

What they do not realize, or they do not care, is that the 'trans' people are disproving their own argument. The premise is that if a man somehow simply declares, 'Today I am a woman!' then all of society, under force of law, must obey his whim and "pretend" that he really is a woman.

But we clearly see that when a 'trans' guy competes physically with a real actual woman, most women do not have a chance. This is graphic empirical evidence that 'pretending' something does not make it translate into reality.

The 'trans' guys are proving in a very demonstrable way that simply declaring womanhood does not make them any more of a woman than any other guy on Earth.

Good grief. If a man could really in reality change his gender (grow ovaries, boobs, and a vagina) simply by putting on makeup and a skirt, that would turn almost all laws of known biology upsidedown.

The problem of Caster Semenya in the midst of this whole boys-competing-against-girls mess is a hard one to resolve. She was born female, but apparently comes by her exceedingly high levels of testosterone naturally. To see her, you'd think she was a man. She dresses like a man, she acts like a man (e.g., flexing her biceps after a victory). She frequently, but not always, beats other women in her event, the 800m.

Sports bodies want a biological criterion to indicate an athlete’s sex. But it’s mind-bogglingly more complicated than that

Debates are raging again over who should be allowed to compete in women’s sport. Take two recent examples that inflamed the internet. First the Sunday Times reported that the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) intended to classify women with higher natural testosterone as “biological males”– just as 800m runner Caster Semenya was headed to court to challenge IAAF regulations that would exclude her and others from competing owing to higher than typical testosterone levels. Then tennis great Martina Navratilova asserted that trans women “biologically, are still men”, and shouldn’t be allowed to compete in women’s events.
Proposed testosterone limit ’flawed’ and ‘hurtful’, say Caster Semenya’s lawyers

The IAAF and Navratilova quickly backed away from these claims, but the damage was done. Many journalists intent on covering a mind-bogglingly complicated subject with authority have asked me the same question recently: “Are women with high T [testosterone] ‘biological males’?” The answer is that there is no simple definition of what a biological male is.

For decades, sports governing bodies have sought a single biological criterion by which to exclude some women from the female category; yet the idea of a true sex is mistaken, and tries to make something incredibly complex seem simple and binary. The latest effort claims gonads – and the testosterone they have a role in producing – as the key factor in what constitutes a “biological male”. But to reduce sex to a single trait is to profoundly mischaracterise decades of research into sex biology. The science is clear: there is no single physiological or biological marker that allows for the simple categorisation of people as male or female.  ...

And it's starting to have a backlash among the very girls and women the liberal feminists are trying to woo. Talk about shooting oneself in the foot.

This is a gift that will keep on giving.

Of course. How can there be any girls' or women's sports anymore if you can't define what a girl or a woman is?

Why bother with Title IX? That should let the colleges off the hook. They didn't want to have to fund women's sports anyway.

The new liberal tactic, which is the old liberal tactic, is to bring in confusion about gender and masquerade it as science.

There is one defining factor to biologically determine male and femaile - XX v. XY. Simple as that.

That there may be aberrations are irrelevant as they are still biological, received at birth. That isn't about a dude putting a ribbon in his hair, calling himself a woman, then going out for girls track.

So they claim that someone born XY who decides they are female can alter their hormones and compete against those who were born XX.  If the XY born wins, it's supposed to be fair because they altered their hormones, and who cares if XX's can't compete, even though the XY's have different muscular development, bone structure, and vascular capabilities.

If that is valid, is it possible for someone born XX who decides they want to be a guy -- can they also alter their hormones to be male and compete and win against those who were born XY?

Both need to be true in order for the claim to be valid.
