Michelle Obama made a fashionable appearance on the final stop of her book tour where she was interviewed by Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker.

Obama, wearing $4,000 glittery thigh-high Balenciaga boots, packed out the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Wednesday night, where Parker interviewed her about her new book, Becoming.

Obama's striking yellow dress was also Balenciaga, an item from the Spring/Summer 2019 ready-to-wear collection that is not yet available. 

During the event, Obama talked about the decisions behind the outfits that made headlines during her time as first lady.

After being introduced by an anorexic Sarah Jessica "Sex in the City" Parker, Michelle emerged from candy-pink curtains donned with what had to be 100 yards of blinding yellow tie-waist satin.  Then, before sitting down, the towering former FLOTUS applauded herself Hillary-style and feigned humility by crossing her arms across her chest, appearing shocked that so many dupes were willing to pay $3,000 for a ticket.

That is possibly one of the worst get ups I have ever seen.

She might have been able to make it a little better if the "bathrobe" was black. And made her  look a little bit smaller as well.

Heel height us 4.3".  Imagine trying to put those things on and then walk around in them.  Add to it that yellow robe dress that won't stay on and the wearer would be miserable.    That yellow thing is enormous, sleeves too long, length too long (even with 4.3" heels),  too big at the shoulders, too much fabric in the top.   Whoever sold her on that getup hates her.

There are some women -- they can wear a burlap sack and still look fabulous.  Mrs. Trump is a good example IMHO.  '

Then there are women like Michelle Obama -- expensive gown, boots, whatever and she still looks like the definition of ghetto trash.

President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump made a surprise trip to Iraq to visit the troops after Christmas. The troops were thrilled to see them and very supportive of the president.

As soon as the photos of the visit hit social media, the left started to pick apart everything Melania wore to the event.

Twitter was on fire with comments about the mustard-colored top worn by the first lady.  It’s funny, Michelle Obama wears a yellow Big Bird dress and is celebrated for it but Melania can’t wear a tailored yellow jacket without getting slammed for it. The double standard is ridiculous.

Michelle is the media darling.  She's a black, Marxist/Socialist woman married to that other media darling, a commie former president.  Mrs. Trump, on the other hand, is one of those privileged white women married to the current president -- a rich white guy who is totally unacceptable to the left and their lackeys in the media.  Michelle can do no wrong, according to the left, while Mrs. Trump can do nothing right.
