This tragedy was already politicized even before the bodies were cold. Every Democrat from the mayor to the governor to Senator Casey was on hand to stomp around the crime scene and show off their frowny faces for the cameras. Their appearance had little to do with the tragedy or the victims or their loved ones and everything to do with the elections next month. Didn't see any Republicans, although that could be because the party has little presence in the city. So maybe that's why Trump feels compelled to come to Pittsburgh. He has to show Republicans care too.
But I wish he would stay away. There are other reasons too. Pittsburgh is an [expletive] to get around in on a normal day. Should Trump come here, the traffic gridlock will be horrendous. Then there is Antifa, Black Lives Matter, Occupy something and the other malcontents. You can be sure they won't have the decency to can their terroristic activities while Trump is in town. The bill to the taxpayers for police and other first responders to deal with these slobs will be huge. And Pittsburgh is always in financial trouble to begin with.
Really, I think Trump has said all he needs to say and done what needs to be done. The feds got this and the perp will be toast. Any further assistance can be directed from Washington, DC. All in all, I think it's a bad idea for Trump to show up here.
