								'I would sneak into the line and get a little hit': Quincy Jones reveals he was hooked on heroin with Ray Charles when he was just 15 - and later toured with a band whose drug dealer was Malcolm X
    *Jones became best friends with Charles, who taught him how to read music 
    *Together they played clubs in Seattle, where musicians did heroin in the corner
    *Charles refused to let him join them, but Jones would sneak in so he could try 
    *Was hooked for five months until he fell down five flights of stairs while high  
    *He later joined legendary American bandleader Lionel Hampton on tour at 18
    *It was there he found out that Malcolm X was the band's drug dealer in Detroit
