Feeling Guilt Likely Increases Your Trustworthiness, Study Finds
Jul 20, 2018 03:24 AM By Sadhana Bharanidharan

How do you predict who the most trustworthy person is in a group? Single out the one who is most prone to feeling guilty according to new research from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

The study titled "Who is trustworthy? Predicting trustworthy intentions and behavior" was published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology on July 12.

While past research has tried to find out what makes people trust each other, not many have explored what makes people worthy of gaining trust.
