I wanted to post a couple of Skids songs here, but seems I must have it on the other computer at the moment in the shop.

This was another great Polish band from the 80s called "Republika". The lyrics were pretty daring considering Poland was still in the throes of Martial Law at the time. I became really obsessed with the music from that era, and was really surprised how much good music was made behind the Iron Curtain.

Thanks Tom, sorry about the delay, got a kid that is sick tonight and he doesn't get sick often so had me worried. I knew The Waitresses due to one song I had (Christmas gift or something like that). I didn't realize just how pretty a lady she was and that she died at 40 (after working for ABC news in a desk job and a record company). Never married and it was just sorta sad. Going to look at your later post/songs, keep em coming.

P.S. Never heard of Miguel Bose, yes, definitely a New Wave sound. I liked it. Thanks

P.S.S. That Italian Disco song rocked, looked around and it had a few mixes too including a Ultra Traxx mix. Sweet.

P.S. I actually liked a few of the songs you posted in the other thread from around 1978 era. Thanks I had forgotten a few of them (example: Bob Welsh, Sniff'n Tears). Hate that my music links only last 3 days, but it is free, doesn't require registration and others can download with pretty good speed.
