President Trump blasted FBI agent Peter Strzok on Monday night, arguing that the hearing for the agent known for his anti-Trump text messages should be “shown to the public on live television.”

“The hearing of Peter Strzok and the other hating frauds at the FBI & DOJ should be shown to the public on live television, not a closed door hearing that nobody will see,” the president tweeted. “We should expose these people for what they are - there should be total transparency!”

Trump’s comments came just days before Strzok is set to testify before the House Judiciary Committee. Strzok apparently was willing to go before Congress, but the committee issued the order for the June 27 appearance because he wouldn’t confirm a specific date to appear, Fox News has learned.

Strzok was involved in special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation before he was removed following the revelation of several anti-Trump text messages with his bureau colleague and lover, Lisa Page.

Ok... so, I'm going to take that ^  ^  as your version of admitting that Trump can't (single-handedly) "save the Republic".  I am inclined to agree, which is why I brought it up.  Without Democrat votes (which he will never get).... he has essentially become a lame duck when it comes to getting major legislation passed.  Sure, he can do more EOs and score more wins via the USSC, which is great.  But his restrictions re: getting major legislation passed need to be grasped and acknowledged.... realistically (not just as an excuse for why there's no wall yet).

I have posted this example before, but it fits here:
A Democrat district judge was trying to find something to charge against Republican officials.  She composed a grand jury made of her family and people who worked for her family.  This so called grand jury called a friend of mine to testify before this grand jury.  She told the truth and they said she was lying; said they didn't believe her.  Then, they called her back to the grand jury with the same thing happening - she told the truth and they said she was lying.  We talked and I told her if they called her again, to claim the 5th and have it with her to read.  Well, they did call her back and took the 5th, read it and they were furious but they had to let her go without questioning.  They didn't call her back after that.  The 5th amendment is gold against an evil government, which this district judge was.  Years later, she was removed from office by the Texas Judicial Commission.  She should have been removed before then as she was totally corrupt.  Those happenings taught me judges and lawyers can be corrupt.
