I thought Goffstown or Auburn is where you go for upscale dining.
Most of the upscale places are in Bedford (Bedford Village Inn or The Copper Door) or downtown ManchVegas (Hanover Street Chophouse).

Gets pretty pricey for regular meals though, especially when we have two awesome barbecue places within easy driving distance: K.C.'s Rib Shack (2nd St. Manchester) or the newer Smokehaus on 101 in Amherst.

Memphis ribs vs. dry-rubbed... mmm-mmm-mmm... either way, you can hold the poutine, Frenchy. We have the meats...

"The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. -Alexander Solzhenitsyn

I grew up in a small town outside of a university town where everyone knew everyone. I didn’t care for it.

I think it is what you make of it. Some people like small towns some people like medium ones some people want to live in cities where they can be anonymous.

It depends on the person and where you are in life. I’ve lived in a small town, two cities and now a medium town. It just depends on the place and the time of life.

You can find happiness anywhere.

Adopt a puppy or kitty from your local shelter
Or an older dog or cat. They're true love❤️

You can't extrapolate what a bunch of funny speaking Hosers have to say about things with regard to the American condition.

Obviously you can and they did.  Just because you don't agree with the findings, and think everyone who doesn't talk like YOU DO is a rube, says something about you, and it's not at all good.

Frank is no longer with us, @DeerSlayer, so I guess you can insult him as you like.

Frank was correct.  You are wrong...again.
You don’t become cooler with age but you do care progressively less about being cool, which is the only true way to actually be cool.
