Prince Andrew faces eviction from Windsor as King Charles slashes income: report

By Nika Shakhnazarova
February 22, 2023

Prince Andrew is facing a fresh eviction notice from his residence on the grounds of Windsor Castle as King Charles moves to slash his income, according to reports.

The disgraced royal, who was famously stripped of his royal and military honors by his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, was last month given the boot from Buckingham Palace by his brother.

Now, it seems as though Andrew’s property portfolio is rapidly shrinking as King Charles looks to cut Andrew’s royal funding in a bid to have a “slimmed-down” monarchy, the Times reports.

This means come April, the Duke of York’s cushy $300,000-a-year income could be slashed as a result of the Privy Purse fund’s overall cuts.

You also stand corrected in the fact, I doubt Harry has a wanker.  His bitch wench wife cut off all that stuff to give him his full enuch status.

Prince William and Kate Middleton get official new titles
Royals are now officially the Prince and Princess of Wales
By Elizabeth Stanton | Fox News

Prince William and Kate Middleton are now officially the Prince and Princess of Wales.

The titles were announced by King Charles III, one day after the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September, but they had not been made official until now.

The announcement in The Gazette, the country’s official public record, said, "In accordance with the direction of HIS MAJESTY THE KING Letters Patent have passed the Great Seal of the Realm, dated the 13th February 2023 for creating His Royal Highness Prince William Arthur Philip Louis, Duke of Cornwall Rothesay and Cambridge, Earl of Carrick and Strathearn, Baron of Renfrew, Baron Carrickfergus, K.G., K.T., Lord of the Isles and Prince and Great Steward of Scotland, PRINCE OF WALES and EARL OF CHESTER."

The Letters of Patent are, according to the Royal Collection Trust, "an open document from the Sovereign, which can be used to express the Sovereign’s will, for example to confer an office or create a new peerage."

Kate’s  dress is beautiful

I had to take a look at the video of it. It’s stunning.
You're everywhere I go, I am not alone
You call me as Your own to know You and be known.
You are holy!
And I fall down on my knees.
I can feel Your presence here with me.
Suddenly I'm lost within Your beauty,
Caught up in the wonder of Your touch.
Here in this moment I surrender to Your love.

There are much, much tougher jobs in the world than being British Royalty, but at least these two do the damn job as best as they can without whining about it.  I'm sure there are days when they don't want to go off and spend hours standing at the dedication of some new structure or whatever, and don't want to have to get all dressed up and make appearances.  But, they do it.  Or just to be able to make an idiot of yourself on occasion and not have to worry about the press all the time.

Again, lots of people would love for that to be their "job", but they do it with class and dignity.  So that's something, even if I am something of an "off with their royal heads" type at heart.

Prince Harry to unpack struggles with ‘trauma expert’ in livestreamed talk
NY Post, Feb 27, 2023

Prince Harry is set to unpack his experiences with a controversial trauma expert on Saturday, during a virtual event in which attendees can submit questions for the former royal to answer.

Harry, whose memoir “Spare” topped bestseller charts, will join Canadian doctor and author Gabor Maté for an “intimate conversation,” to which royal fans can purchase tickers for $33.99, publisher Random House said in a statement about the event.

In an email to Postmedia, Maté, a bestselling author whose books have been published in over 30 languages, said their conversation would be about the impact of emotional loss and the importance of personal healing.

“In ‘Spare,’ Prince Harry is very open about his mental-health challenges, as I have been about my own in my books. Such a public conversation, I hope, will help encourage more openness around mental health and contribute to remove the stigma around what we call mental illness,” Maté said.

Royal expert on Camilla dropping consort title against Queen Elizabeth’s wishes: ‘A queen in her own right’
King Charles' wife Camilla reportedly dropping 'queen consort of the United Kingdom' title after his coronation
By Kristen Altus FOXBusiness

King Charles III’s wife, Camilla, queen consort of the United Kingdom, is apparently paving her own way as Great Britain’s monarchy prepares to crown the couple this coming May.

Following the coronation, Camilla will reportedly take the title of "queen" rather than "queen consort," unnamed sources told the Daily Mail over the weekend. The move also goes against the late Queen Elizabeth II’s wishes to refer to Camilla as "queen consort" as she carries out the remainder of her royal duties.

Elizabeth declared that she wanted Camilla to be known as "queen consort" in February 2022 with an endorsement that formally signified the family’s acceptance of Camilla as a respected senior member. It was also widely seen as a move by Elizabeth to pave a smooth transition to Charles’ reign.

According to royal expert and commentator Nigel Farage, Camilla’s request for a title change comes at a time when she’s "paid her penance."

Dunno how this will go for Charles and Camilla.

Last time there were joint monarchs (not consorts) was William and Mary.

Pretty certain that inheritance of the crown follows blood relations, so William will inherit at the time of Charles' death, not Camilla.

When George VI became King his wife, (the Queen Mother), became Queen, consort of King George VI.  She was called Queen Elizabeth. ... As was tradition.
George V's wife was also Queen Mary, consort of King George, called Queen Mary (Elizabeth II grandmother.

I believe Elizabeth II wanted to make it clear that Camilla would also be called Queen, as was tradition.  Camilla is consort of King Charles, Queen Camilla.  That, in no way, gives her any authority over the continuation of the monarchy.  When Charles dies, William (or his heir becomes King).

@Gefn   FWIW,  I don't think Camilla ever becomes queen in her own right, she has no royal blood.  And her children cannot enter the line of succession to the throne because they are not issue of her marriage to Charles.

No.  She’s not descended from the royal line - I.e., Charles - and cannot bequeath the status of royal to anyone who is not a blood relation of Charles.

@Kamaji

Yes, but the question is who has the power to create those offices.  For the most part, I believe that offices like that are now created by Parliament, even if publicly handed out by the king or queen.

That is quite different from matters of succession, which are very carefully laid out:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Succession_to_the_British_throne

Bottom line is this:  there is probably some fishmonger's son or daughter out there would stands closer in line to the throne than Camilla ever will.

I think ALL Royal famalies should require mandatory DNA testing to be made public before handing out royal titles.

@Kamaji

I think ALL Royal famalies should require mandatory DNA testing to be made public before handing out royal titles.

No royal blood = no royal title

No, a quick bill in Parliament to include the individual in the line as if he/she had been in fact born into the line.

So all your proposal would do is to embarrass the heck out of everyone and provide salacious gossip to those people who have too few brains, too little money, and too much time to actually be value-add to human civilization.

Why not let the royal family be the determinant of who is, and who is not, a member of the royal family and in the line of succession, in consultation with the prime minister and cabinet?

Because DNA tests,in addition to determining family lines, would let a lot of hot air out of a lot of hot air "baloons".

In other words, you prefer embarrassment and damage to the sovereignty of a country over leaving those matters to be resolved in private by those best placed to resolve them.

Why not simply do the honest thing and advocate for removing all inherited heads of state and going with strictly elected heads of state?

It was so much easier when claims to the throne could be settled in manly fashion at places like St. Albans or Bosworth field.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

Though there are generational repeats, the deadliest day in my ancestral history was 9 Sep 1513, based on collaborative research, 258 of my ancestors were killed that day.  On both sides.  (Flodden)

Talk about some serious settling.

King Charles, Camilla to break royal tradition at coronation with ‘bold move’: ‘An enormous honor’
The eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II and his wife, the queen consort, will be crowned on May 6

When it comes to the coronation, family comes first.

In a "bold move," the grandchildren of Camilla, queen consort, will have an official role at the upcoming ceremony, the U.K. Times recently reported. The children are expected to be by their grandmother’s side during the most sacred moment of the event, which takes place on May 6.

The 75-year-old has five grandchildren, who affectionately call her "GaGa." Her son, Tom Parker Bowles, has Lola, 15, and Freddy, 13, and her daughter, Laura Lopes, has Eliza, 15, and twins, Louis and Gus, 13.

"This idea draws attention to the king and queen’s blended family situation – theirs is a second marriage for both of them," royal commentator and broadcaster Jonathan Sacerdoti told Fox News Digital.

"Acknowledging the blended nature of their family in such an open and proud way will be seen as them actively choosing to reflect the many other blended families that increasingly make up the United Kingdom population," he shared. "These days, more and more people have stepchildren and step-grandchildren, and it will be important for them to see the royal family taking a more inclusive stance."

"The royal family is of course quite different from the rest of us, but they also reflect many of the social changes that have taken place for the wider public," Sacerdoti added.

 :pondering:

* 1st marriage grandchildren included in a solemn and legally sanctioned event?
* Who is named after maybe one of the slutiest pop stars out there?
* Inclusivity?  There's that damned word again.

Sounds more like a reality TV show than a coronation.

King Charles is 'evicting Harry and Meghan from Frogmore Cottage leaving them without a UK home - and offering the property to Prince Andrew'

The Palace purportedly chose to evict Harry and Meghan after release of 'Spare'
It is said Charles wants Andrew to move into the five-bed Frogmore Cottage
Duke of York currently resides at massive Royal Lodge despite paying peanuts

King Charles has decided to evict Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from their royal residence at Frogmore Cottage in favour of Prince Andrew, it has been claimed.

Buckingham Palace issued an eviction notice to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex days after Harry's memoir Spare - in which he made a series of sensational claims against the Royal Family - hit UK shelves in January, according to The Sun.

Instead, the Palace seeks to replace the pair with the disgraced Duke of York, who currently inhabits the larger Royal Lodge, the paper alleges.

Andrew is said to be resisting the move, but it is said Harry and Meghan will be forced to leave the cottage - their only remaining home in the UK - and fully complete their relocation to the US irrespective of whether Andrew moves in.

The revelation comes with preparations for King Charles' Coronation in May well underway amid speculation that Prince Harry may not receive an invitation.

MailOnline has contacted Buckingham Palace and Prince Harry's representatives for comment.
