I don't like it when wealthy people buy their way out of shared values or shared sacrifice.

Just because someone has the wealth to "buy carbon offsets for their private jets", "buy the silence of their victims", or "afford the best lawyers" does not make their behavior right.

Randy Andy sexually assaulted an underage girl, not an adult woman legally capable of consent.  That's what makes it a public matter, no different than the Catholic Church child sexual abuse scandals.

Persons and institutions of wealth and power have used a culture of silence prevent them from being held accountable for crimes against children, and other vulnerbale persons.

Rape of a minor is not a private matter, whether perpetrated by a member of NAMBLA or by a member the British Royal Family.

Then your beef is with the police and prosecutors who will not investigate.

This case was a civil lawsuit between private parties, and they are masters of their litigation.

How could Charles not have known? Scotland Yard says it WILL investigate offer of knighthood for donations to Prince of Wales' charities - as royal says he is 'happy' to assist officers in any way

Quote

rince Charles faces being interviewed by police over an alleged ‘cash for honours’ scandal, it emerged last night.

Scotland Yard has announced an inquiry into claims surrounding his once closest aide, Michael Fawcett.

The bombshell for the royals comes less than 24 hours after the abject humiliation of Prince Andrew having to pay to resolve a sexual abuse lawsuit.

The police probe follows a Mail on Sunday revelation that Mr Fawcett allegedly offered to help Saudi billionaire Mahfouz Marei Mubarak bin Mahfouz upgrade his honorary CBE to a knighthood – and support his application for British citizenship – in exchange for ‘generous’ donations to Charles’s charitable foundation.

When I saw the likes of Elton John and Mick Jagger being knighted, I knew this process had gone to shit.

Not surprised Chucky is selling 'em for payola like cheap medals at a scrap meet.

Queen Elizabeth II tests positive for COVID-19
NY Post, Feb 20, 2022

Queen Elizabeth II has tested positive for COVID-19, Buckingham Palace announced Sunday.

In a statement, the palace said the 95-year-old British monarch is experiencing “mild cold-like symptoms” and will continue with “light duties.”

She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines,” the read the statement.

The queen was inoculated against the virus in early 2021, and has since received a booster dose.

The news comes after her eldest son Prince Charles earlier this month tested positive for the coronavirus for the second time; her daughter-in-law Camilla, Duchess of Cornwalltime; contracted COVID-19 four days later.

The sovereign was then closely “monitored” after she came in contact with her son days before his COVID-19 diagnosis, before it was reported she’d be returning to work after negative tests.

Prince Andrew reportedly mocked by palace insiders with nursery rhyme

By Yaron Steinbuch

February 21, 2022

Quote
Buckingham Palace aides have reportedly reworded a nursery rhyme to mock Prince Andrew over his roughly $12 million settlement with former Jeffrey Epstein sex slave Virginia Roberts Giuffre.

“The grand old Duke of York, he had 12 million quid. He gave it to someone he’d never met, for something he never did,” the new spin on the nursery rhyme goes, insiders told the Sunday Times.

Haven't heard any further, but supposedly Charles was being investigated for selling knighthood status  for payola recently.

Queen really needs to send Andy and Chucky to an Isle of Man soliatire castle, and let them rot there.

Why Leaked Prince Harry Letter Spells Trouble for Prince Charles
By Jack Royston On 2/21/22 at 12:27 PM EST

Prince Harry's reported decision to cut ties with a controversial tycoon over "cash for access" fears has heaped fresh pressure on his father Prince Charles.

The Duke of Sussex was reportedly being courted by Mahfouz Marei Mubarak bin Mahfouz with offers of a £1 million ($1.36 million) donation in 2014 when it apparently started to appear as though the tycoon wanted an in-person visit in Saudi Arabia in return for the money.

Harry's staffer Mark Dyer swiftly applied the brakes warning of "cash for access" concerns only to be told Prince Charles had suggested the trip, The Sunday Times reported, citing leaked emails. However, a palace source said Prince Charles did not encourage Harry to visit Saudi Arabia. ...

Police are now investigating whether the chief executive of Charles' charity, The Prince's Foundation, may have broken the law by offering help securing a knighthood and U.K. citizenship to the tycoon in return for donations.  ...

Queen Elizabeth II will no longer call Buckingham Palace home: report
By Lee Brown
March 7, 2022 10:30am

Queen Elizabeth II has permanently quit living in Buckingham Palace, according to a report.

“She has her memories with Prince Philip there, she has her ponies there and family nearby. It makes sense.”

The decision comes after a series of health scares for the Queen, who on Monday met Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at Windsor Castle — in her first in-person engagement since falling ill with COVID-19.

In October, she also spent a night in the hospital for an unspecified ailment, scaling back her official duties and resting afterward on doctors’ orders.

The 95-year-old UK monarch, who called the palace home for most of her record-breaking 70-year reign, has decided to permanently reside in her weekend home, Windsor Castle, according to the Times of London.

The decision was based partly on an ongoing “reservicing” of the palace — but also Elizabeth’s preference for the castle, where she spent her last days with late husband Prince Philip, sources told the paper.

“Windsor is the place she loves,” one of her acquaintances, royal author and deputy lord lieutenant of Berkshire Hugo Vickers, told the UK Times.

I think she will be stepping down soon.

Queen pulls out of attending Commonwealth Service

This is usually a significant occasion for the Queen and earlier in the week it had been hoped she would attend.

The decision is understood to be about concerns over her discomfort with travelling, rather than illness.

Prince Harry is also now not expected to come to the UK for a service of thanksgiving for Prince Philip, to be held later this month.

The message from Buckingham Palace does not mention the health of the 95-year-old Queen, but says not attending the Commonwealth Service on Monday was decided "after discussing arrangements with the Royal Household".

It is understood not to be related to an illness - but there have been concerns about the Queen's ability to travel and her mobility......

Harry and Meghan Try To Stay Relevant by Pushing Covid Fear Agenda

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle joined a celebrity and world leader call to supposedly warn the world that the “pandemic is not over”.
Nathaniel Charles12 Mar 2022, 1:55 PM PST

On Friday Prince Harry and Meghan Markle joined a celebrity and world leader call to warn the world that supposedly the “pandemic is not over” as the world enters the third year of living with coronavirus.

The disgraced prince and his controversial wife have added their signatures to a letter from ‘The People’s Vaccine’ – a coronavirus vaccine lobby group – that has called for 70 per cent of the world to be vaccinated by mid-2022, and for vaccines to be provided “to everyone, everywhere”.

The organisation openly states in the letter that they condemn the approach taken so far by world leaders in an effort to tackle coronavirus as “immoral, entirely self-defeating and also an ethical, economic and epidemiological failure”, and instead called for “global solidarity”.

The People’s Vaccine have also highlighted they believe what they call a “failure to vaccinate the world so far is down to self-defeating nationalism, pharmaceutical monopolies and inequality”, which they suggest has unnecessarily prolonged the pandemic.

Harry is shameful.  He's the one that decided he didn't want the 'royal benefits' and left and also didn't want Archie to have a royal title -- now he's whimpering like a baby. If he's willing to pay for his own security, I'm not seeing why he doesn't feel safe.  Sounds like a spoiled brat who didn't get his way.  Denying his grandmother the chance to see her great grandchild (supposedly named after the Queen) is just despicable.

He really has become a terrible little cry-baby.

I know that the UK has comprehensive laws that regulate how, when, and to whom members of the royal family can get married.  I would strongly suggest that they prohibit any member of the royal family in future from marrying an American divorcee, because the last two times that was done, the results were terrible.

Prince William and Duchess Kate Arrive in Belize for Caribbean Tour

Back to work! In honor of Queen Elizabeth II’s milestone Platinum Jubilee, Prince William and Duchess Kate embarked on a Caribbean tour to experience other countries in the British Commonwealth.

“Arriving in Belize, the first stop of our Caribbean tour! 🇧🇿 🇯🇲 🇧🇸,” a Saturday, March 19, post on the 39-year-old Duke of Cambridge and the 40-year-old Duchess of Cambridge’s official Instagram account read.

The married couple — who wed in 2011 — stepped off their private plane where they were treated to a military welcome. Kate, for her part, wore a blue Jenny Packham blazer and skirt with matching heels. William sported a coordinating blue suit as they stepped off the tarmac. The blue hues were nods to the country’s royal color.

The pair’s arrival in Belize marks their first destination on their Caribbean tour, which also includes visits to Jamaica and the Bahamas.

After their warm welcome on Saturday, the twosome have a packed scheduled to see the sights on Sunday, March 20. After visiting a cacao producer to learn more about the country’s famed Maya chocolate making, they will spend time with the Garifuna culture in Hopkins, per an Instagram Story post via their official account. They will also learn about Belize’s marine conservation efforts...............

Kate is stunning. And he’s an absolute jerk if the rumors of his infidelities are true.
You're everywhere I go, I am not alone
You call me as Your own to know You and be known.
You are holy!
And I fall down on my knees.
I can feel Your presence here with me.
Suddenly I'm lost within Your beauty,
Caught up in the wonder of Your touch.
Here in this moment I surrender to Your love.

I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

Kate is stunning. And he’s an absolute jerk if the rumors of his infidelities are true.

What rumors are those?

If you google Prince William and Rose Hanbury, you’ll find plenty of “information”. Not saying any of it’s true. I sincerely hope it’s not.

Thanks.  I did a little poking around, and it seems rather thin gruel.

I had no idea.  I am hoping it is not true; this would be yet another Royal scandal.  I went and read bits and pieces from different tabloids and what does stand out is that Rose was pregnant with twins and married within several days to someone much older than her -- it was a quick trip to the altar.

From Charles and Princess Di and his affair with Camilla and Princess Di's death, and then Prince Andrew's involvement with Epstein Island along with all the shenanigans of Harry and Markle, I hope that William and Kate will be without scandal.  The poor Queen!

I know for a time when they were dating , William broke up with Kate, but I think he probably realized she was a one in a million girl and the other girls couldn’t hold a candle to her.

I read somewhere years ago that Kate had a crush on him since she was a teenager.

Prince Andrew to Exit from Public Life Following Prince Philip’s Memorial: Report

Nathaniel Charles 23 Mar 2022

Prince Andrew will reportedly be attending a memorial service for his father Prince Philip next Tuesday, with courtiers believing he will retire from public life afterwards.

Despite risking being a major distraction from the service, Prince Andrew, 62, will be attending the Prince Philip thanksgiving memorial service on the 29th of March at Westminster Abbey.

The event that will commemorate Prince Philip’s life has been organised by Queen Elizabeth II, 95, who is celebrating the year of her Platinum Jubilee, which marks 70 years of service to the British people.

Royal sources speaking to the Daily Mail said that they believe Andrew will “disappear from public life” after the memorial for his father.

The Duke of York first distanced himself from public duties in 2019 after billionaire in light of his connections to diseased paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Following an out-of-court settlement with Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts née Giuffre, who claimed Prince Andrew sexually assaulted her when she was 17, Andrew has since avoided major public appearances. Andrew has continued to maintain his innocence, however.

Andrew was visibly not present at the Commonwealth Service in Westminster Abbey on the 14th of March despite other senior royals attending including the Prince of Wales and Camilla as well as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

I thought off-the-shoulder was verboten ever since Margaret's "adventures" in the 60s.
