Bowie had his landmark album, "Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars", I do remember seeing this album around. It does seem they have a bit of a connection to Bowie.

This is the original or close to it, ignore the added in intro trademark by the channel owner.

More of that genre, not too familiar with the group, looks interesting:

She was just 15 years old when she recorded this shred in Comfortably Numb.

The university has since closed but Marco Rubio did receive a football scholarship from Tarkio University in Missouri and spent some time there.  Check his wikipedia bio. Yes, that school might have been a religious school

That's really where Brewer and Shipley are based though, they had to go out to the West coast to be discovered, they have a few songs but most of their songs are not that strong.

Just watched and heard a contestant on The Voice sing Tennessee Whiskey  tonight, and it was so freaking good I got chills. That song was all over the air waves a couple of years ago,and then it just disappeared.

It sure made a comeback tonight, though. All 4 chairs turned.

I can't help but say, when Dunkirk was released in 2017, it was a big deal; but I didn't get to see it. Now, Walmart has a lot of these movies for $5 or even less. I finally watched "Dunkirk", pretty good. I don't know how exactly accurate it was, I'd say it surely is fairly accurate. I got a bit of a whiff of how it must have been. Pretty hellacious. The Germans were pushing them right into the sea.
