Since I have started a new job I haven't really been paying attention to other things. Now that it is the weekend maybe I'll research some and update the robot thread. Or go fishing. Weather is NICE. Job is NICE. My whole family has been telling me you come home in a good mood from work. Last job I wasn't happy when I came home. I was at the point I didn't want to go to work. New boss says I need some tweaking, construction wise. Not training. Just getting in line with his way. But in a way he needs some tweaking. He got some new hardware that a customer wanted and he said it didn't come with mounting instructions. So I showed him how.
In another app he got two different brackets that were supposed to be the same. I made the wood trim to fit the one he showed me then showed me the second one and the bracket was different. He told me I should change the trim profile to match the different (sized) bracket and package it as ab-cd, ba-dc. I told him what we needed to do was change the bracket, a little bit off, with the bench grinder, so every piece was ab ab. Aka-universal fit. Cause it is a customer doing the install himself. And who reads the instructions, or a map, or the article in a thread? No man I know.
So, he needs tweaked, I need tweaked.
