Suicide bombers, gunmen attack Kabul police stations

May 9 (UPI) -- Three suicide bombers and gunmen attacked targeted several police stations in the Afghan capital Wednesday, authorities said.

The first bomber struck a police station in the western part of Kabul, according to Interior Ministry spokesman Najib Danesh.

Gunfire was also reported during the "cleanup operation" following the blast.
