The head of a seminary who organized a desert trek in which 10 Israeli teenagers were killed in a flash flood has been arrested on suspicion of causing death through negligence, police said.

Nine girls and a boy were killed when a sudden, powerful torrent gushed through a usually arid Zafit river bed in southern Israel near the Dead Sea on Thursday. Seven of the 10 were buried on Friday.

It's a tragedy, does Seminary necessarily mean some Christian denomination? Because the article does not say.  The poor girls, an all around tragedy,  Netanyahu comments at article.

IMO, ignorance can equal negligence..., if you're going out into Gaia's reign you had better have your $hit in one sack and have exercised due diligence by educating yourself on the possible hazards.  So-called "dry" river beds are nothing to trifle with.

Would never let the young men (Scouts) in my charge hike in or through them during the seasons when Spring thaws, rains or thunderstorms anywhere near the area were a possibility.  In the desert SW we take this $hit seriously, especially during the winter and monsoon seasons.

Condolences to the families and RIP to those whose lives were lost.
Throwing our allegiances to political parties in the long run gave away our liberty.
