Something mysterious is happening in the Arizona desert 45 minutes outside Phoenix.

A secretive shell company just plunked down a cool $80 million for 25,000 acres of seemingly worthless land.

Investment firm Mt. Lemmon Holdings is sinking almost $100 million on a huge area of land far away from America’s tech hubs.

Last year the news about this land was claiming it was Bill Gates, but it was not.

That is some prime land, dirt cheap. Especially with how fast Phoenix is growing. It only looks worthless the layperson. Good on to that for the heads at the current rate of area growth and it could be worth the times the investment of more. A lot more if it is developed.

The subtitle is a lot misleading.  It's not 45 minutes from Phoenix, Mt. Lemmon is about 45 minutes from Tucson.  This isn't an article, it's a sales pitch.
