(Natural News) Upset by his narrow loss to Republican presidential nominee George W. Bush in 2000, then-Vice President Al Gore found solace not in challenging Bush four years later, but in becoming the biggest hawker of ‘global warming/climate change’ there ever was.

It’s paid off for the former VEEP — literally.

As noted by the UK’s Telegraph in 2009, Gore was poised then to become the world’s first “carbon billionaire after investing heavily in green companies.”
