State Rep. Harry Shiver R-Stockton

Alabama lawmakers need to protect "our ladies" and to do that, they should not arm teachers because most are women, argued State Rep. Harry Shiver, R-Stockton, this morning.

Most women, and women teachers in particular, "are scared of guns," and should not be expected to carry them in classrooms, he said.

Harry followed up by saying he thought a good solution was getting a "colored" to stand guard at the school entrances because they were "imposing".

I agree with him.  I don’t trust the majority of them to teach my children.  I can’t imagine giving the fruitcakes a gun!

I don't think women are able to buy guns on their own. Don't they need their husband, brother, or father to buy it for them?
