NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has announced plans to fine Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones millions of dollars for behavior in a public feud seen as detrimental to the NFL last year, The New York Times reported Monday.

Jones was an advocate of not extending Goodell’s contract as the NFL commissioner last year. He threatened to sue the NFL, and was outspoken about his opposition to the suspension of Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliot.

Goodell is expected to hand down the fine soon, and it will likely amount to millions of dollars to compensate for the legal fees that the NFL and the owner’s compensation committee incurred during Jones’ battle with the commissioner.

Do that at your peril, Roger.

Jones has plenty more resources at his disposal than you do.

Goodell should be fined for the NFL losing millions of dollars with his support of the disrespectful players kneeling during the NA.  He has to be the biggest tool in the pro sports hierarchy.
